KARACHI: Saudi Arabia has decided to hire Pakistan to promote cricket on its soil, rejecting the whole world.
According to the sources, in view of the growing popularity of cricket, the Saudi Crown Prince has invited the owner Nadeem Umar of Quetta Gladiators, a well-known PSL franchise, for the promotion of cricket in his country.
Sources said that Nadeem Umar, who was invited on a special invitation from the Saudi government, will present suggestions to the relevant authorities for the development and promotion of the sport, while in this context, a memorandum of understanding will also be signed between Quetta Gladiator and the Saudi government.

Sources also said that Nadeem Umar will form the national cricket team of Saudi Arabia with his team, while the franchise will also form the domestic cricket system of Saudi Arabia. Former Test captain Sarfraz Ahmed and head coach and former Test captain Moin Khan will also play an important role in this project.
Meanwhile, the cricket circles have rejected the big names of the world by the Saudi government and called the selection of Nadeem Umar a great honor for Pakistan. It should be noted that Nadeem Umar has recently been elected unopposed president of the Karachi region in the election held under Pakistan Cricket Board.
