DOHA: Saudi footballer Yasser Alshahrani, who was injured against Argentina in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, has been sent back home.
According to Saudi media reports, a statement posted on Twitter by the Green Falcons said that footballer Yasir Al Shahrani has been transferred from Hamad Medical City to the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, where he underwent surgery.

Yasser Alshahrani has also released a video message in which he said that he is fine, “May Allah bless you all with good health, your prayers are a great asset for me. Congratulations to the Saudi people on victory over Argentina,” he said.
