Pakistani actress Sarah Khan has urged her followers to boycott Gul Ahmed, a well-known textile company, after a fatal car accident involving Natasha Danish Iqbal, who is reportedly the daughter-in-law of the company’s owners.
Sarah Khan shared a post on her Instagram story supporting the call for a boycott, aligning herself with a growing public demand for justice and accountability.
Natasha Iqbal, wife of Karachi industrialist Danish Iqbal, allegedly struck and killed victims with her speeding SUV after colliding with bikers and pedestrians.
She has been placed under physical remand by the Karachi City Court. Initially, her defense claimed she was suffering from mental health issues and had been admitted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) due to a head injury. However, hospital records show she was discharged as fit, with no immediate need for psychiatric care.
This incident has ignited widespread outrage on social media, with many accusing the family of using their influence to avoid facing justice.
A boycott campaign against Gul Ahmed products was initially started by a Reddit user, who pointed out the connection between Natasha and Gul Ahmed Textiles Limited. Online communities have rallied for justice for the victims, calling for a boycott of the company’s products due to its alleged ties to the accused.
