KARACHI: Actress Sanam Saeed who was stranded in Thailand has finally returned home.
The actress among other Pakistani celebrities and crew members who were shooting the movie “Ishrat Made In China” were stranded in Thailand due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The actress took to Instagram and thanked all those that made it possible for everyone stuck in Thailand to return back home, “Thank you to all those who made every effort in every way possible to get us and the many other Pakistanis stranded in Thailand on this flight today. Pray, we all reach safely in good health and spirit. To anyone else still stranded in other places be patient, stay positive,” she wrote.
Along with Sanam Saeed, actor Muhib Mirza, Sara Loren, and Shamoon Abbasi had been stuck in Thailand. The actors went to Bangkok for a movie’s shoot which was later canceled following the lockdown.
Moreover, Shamoon Abbasi also thanked the government of Pakistan and others who made their return from Thailand possible.
In a tweet, the actor wrote that he was astonished by the management of the Islamabad airport. “They dealt the arriving passengers with such grace and stability,” the actor wrote.
Abbasi also said, “Rangers officials were very co-operative and focused on how to deal with the passengers It was a smooth process without any delay.”
