Pakistani mountaineer Sajid Sadpara has successfully summited the 12th-highest mountain on earth — Broad Peak — without oxygen support.
Sadpara, Son of renowned mountaineer Ali Sadpara, reached the summit of the 8,051-meter peak without the aid of Sherpas or other locals.

Sadpara has now successfully ascended all five of Pakistan’s eight-thousanders without using any additional oxygen.
It should be mentioned that Sajid plans to summit each of the 14 eight-thousanders without using extra oxygen.
In June, he conquered Nanga Parbat without the aid of Sherpas or additional oxygen.

He has also summited K2 (8,611m), Gasherbrum-I (8,080m), and Gasherbrum-II (8,035m) in Pakistan, as well as Manaslu (8,163m) in Nepal, without supplemental oxygen.
Sajid has also achieved the unique feat of climbing the world’s highest peak Mount Everest without the support of supplementary oxygen and assistance from Sherpas in May 2023.
