Mohit Suri’s romantic film Saiyaara was released today in 1,750 theaters across India, having already gained significant fame beforehand because, after a long time, the Bollywood film industry has turned to romance following action, horror-comedy, and formulaic films, which is being well-received.
Indian media states that the film’s fame is largely attributed to its soundtrack, composed by Suri’s long-time collaborator Mithoon, and the new pairing of debutants Ahaan Panday and Anit Padda is also being appreciated.
Many showbiz stars have contributed to the film’s popularity by showering it with praise. For instance, singer Palak Muchhal shared her thoughts after a special screening, calling Saiyaara “not just a love story, but a journey of emotion, pain, healing, and timeless connection.”

She praised Suri’s direction and lauded the lead actors, calling them “the most brilliant debutants I’ve ever seen, so real, so powerful.”
Prominent figures in the film industry are praising the film not only for its content but also for its fresh and organic marketing approach. In an era dominated by heavy-handed PR, influencer partnerships, and often exaggerated box office stories, Saiyaara has stood out through a simple, music-driven campaign.
Earlier, after the trailer dropped, Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his excitement:
“Witnessing a Hindi heartland love story that fully emphasizes romance and drama. Waiting to watch it on the first day. Wishing the debutants all the very best 🙂 It’s purely Mohit Suri’s magic.”
