Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee have reprised themselves with their new roles in the sequel of ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.
The sequel to the 2005 iconic movie ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ starring Bollywood’s famous Jodi Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee has released its first teaser. Both the stars are reprised in their roles as Rani will be seen as ‘Fashion Queen of Fursatgunj’ and Saif will appear on screen as a ‘ticket collector’.

Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan also has put on some weight to get fit in his character in the movie. While talking about his character in the movie Bollywood’s Nawab says, “Not a day goes by without Rakesh missing the thrill he felt when he was the legendary conman Bunty. Though he has kept his identity a secret and enjoys his marriage with Vimmy, he misses the action, misses strategizing for cons that became the talk of the nation. Suppressing who he truly is and wants to be, impacts his health.”

Furthermore, he added, “I had to put on several kilos and then lose it quickly because of my packed shooting schedule. When I look back, I’m glad I went through the process because Rakesh, the OG Bunty, looks believable in the film. He is a family man, who has quit conning people. He has settled down. He is endearing, his struggles are real. He was a legend and now he is a nobody. He craves to be known, which makes him disappointed about how his life has shaped up. He wants to feel important.”
Meanwhile, the family entertainer ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ starring Saif and Rani with debutant Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari is going to release on November 19, 2021.
