QUETTA: Salar Sanjrani, younger brother of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, and his driver died on Saturday in a road accident on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway.
According to Lasbela Deputy Commissioner, Salar was travelling to Quetta from Karachi when his car collided with an oil tanker, confirming that Salar’s driver died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Salar was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, however, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Salaar’s body has been shifted to Karachi’s South City Hospital.
A private media outlet reported that Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani will arrive in Karachi at 12:00 midnight via a private airline’s flight. The funeral prayer of Salaar Sanjrani will be offered in the native town Nokundi and he will be laid to rest in Dalbandin.
Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo called Sanjrani and expressed sorrow over the death of his younger brother. Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and CM Punjab Usman Buzdar also extended their condolences.

Last year, Salar Khan assured people of Nokkundi, a town in Chagai district of Balochistan, that his brother and Chairman of the Senate Sadiq Sanjrani would play role in addressing the issues and miseries of the people of the province.
