Netflix has renewed Ryan Murphy’s two best series running successfully on the online streaming platform i.e Monster and The Watcher.
Netflix has hatched a deal with Ryan Murphy and ordered two additional seasons of Monster, owing to its huge viewing figures. Just like Murphy’s shows such as American Horror Story and American Crime Story, the series will be turned into an anthology series with stories of other monstrous figures who have impacted society.
Moreover, Netflix also shook hands with the acclaimed director on the second season of The Watcher. Although, it is not confirmed whether the story will continue or it will also be made an anthology.

According to Netflix, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story starring Evan Peters became the second most-watched series ever following its debut on the streaming platform.
A fictionalised 10-part limited series retells the story of the notorious criminal who murdered 17 young men between 1978 and 1991.
Dahmer’s victims were all male, ranging in age from 14 to 32, and all the murders were sexually motivated, many of them people of color and some underage.
On the other hand, The Watcher featuring Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale stacked up almost 341 million hours of global viewership 18 days after its debut.
