Russia and Ukraine have agreed to ensure safe maritime navigation in the Black Sea and refrain from attacking each other’s energy infrastructure, as reported by international media.
According to a foreign news agency, the United States is continuing its efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, and progress has been made in this regard. The White House stated that the U.S. made separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia during the Riyadh negotiations.
As a result, Russia and Ukraine agreed to ensure safe maritime navigation in the Black Sea and not to attack each other’s energy infrastructure. The U.S. also promised to help restore Russia’s access to global markets for agricultural and fertilizer exports.
According to the White House, the U.S. will continue to facilitate discussions between the parties to achieve lasting peace. U.S. President Donald Trump also confirmed that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
Donald Trump stated that significant progress has been made on the Ukraine issue and that there is also considerable progress regarding the Middle East.
Additionally, the U.S. President clarified that no information was leaked in a secret chat among senior national security officials. He stated that there were no classified details in discussions about attacks on the Houthis, and the FBI is not involved in investigating the chat. He also affirmed that national security advisors are doing an excellent job and do not need to apologize.
