ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session has once again been delayed as lawmakers continued to create a ruckus in the National Assembly, as a result, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser denied to conduct the proceedings of the House.
According to details, in another session held on 16th June, members of the National Assembly, who earlier threw budget books at each other, this time hit each other with sanitiser bottles.
The government and opposition members continue to blame each other for throwing a bottle of sanitiser. In a brief session of the National Assembly yesterday, a PTI member was attacked with a sanitiser bottle.
The constant noise made it difficult to continue the meeting. When the National Assembly resumed its session after a break, the proceedings lasted only a few minutes. National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser adjourned the sitting.
Speaker Asad Qaiser, realizing the delicacy of the situation, refused to conduct the proceedings of the National Assembly. PTI and PML-N members were seen blaming each other.
On the other hand, the PML-N could not remain silent. Former federal minister and PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that the bottle of sanitiser was thrown by the government benches and on the arrival of opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif, he was subjected to the abusive language.
It may be recalled that earlier on Tuesday, the NA proceedings witnessed humiliating scenes when the ministers and parliamentarians were seen creating a ruckus, using filthy language, whistling, and attacking each other with budget books during the speech of the Opposition Leader in NA Shahbaz Sharif on the federal budget.
