Armed robbers looted a Pakistan Rangers man at IJP Road in Islamabad and also injured him on resistance, a private TV channel reported on Friday.
The bandits snatched valuables worth Rs150,000 bought for marriage along with Rs20,000 in cash from the official and managed to escape from the scene.
The injured official of Rangers has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
According to police, the official resisted the robbery bid on which they attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon, and as a result, he received injuries.
