Expectant mother Richa Chadha received a delightful surprise from the renowned Alia Bhatt. Alia, who runs a children’s clothing company called Ed-a-Mama, sent Richa a box filled with clothes for her soon-to-arrive little one.
Richa expressed her gratitude on Instagram, sharing glimpses of the thoughtful gift and expressing her love for it.
The shared video showcased a customized gift box bearing Richa’s name, containing adorable clothes and a heartfelt note. Part of the note conveyed encouragement for Richa to prioritize self-care during the journey of raising a child. Richa also mentioned her pet cat, Kamli, enjoying the gifts alongside her.
In her caption, Richa shared her appreciation for the gesture, recalling Alia’s busy schedule at the MET Gala and highlighting the comfort and charm of the clothes received. She also expressed anticipation for joining the ranks of mothers, referring to them as a “secret superwoman club.”

Alia’s gesture of sending thoughtful gifts to friends isn’t new, as she has previously sent similar packages to Bipasha Basu, Sonam Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, and Upasana Konidela, among others. The Bollywood power couple, Richa and her husband, got married in a private ceremony in 2020, followed by a larger celebration with friends and family in 2022.
Earlier this year, the couple joyfully announced their pregnancy on Instagram, capturing the excitement of expecting their first child with a touching post celebrating the miracle of a tiny heartbeat.
