RAWALPINDI: The Peoples Party (PPP) is all set to hold a rally at the Liaquat Bagh tomorrow to observe the 12th death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who will address the gathering tomorrow, earlier announced to address a public rally at the site where his mother Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on 27th December 2007 after addressing an election rally in Rawalpindi ahead of the 2008 general polls.

The rally being held in Rawalpindi by PPP was earlier refused at the Liaquat Bagh. However, PPP moved the case to Lahore High Court against and on Tuesday, the party was granted permission for public gathering and summoned the district administration of Rawalpindi for its response today.
Benazir Bhutto was a Pakistani politician who served as Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996. She was the first woman to head a democratic government in a Muslim majority nation.
