The release of Fast & Furious 9 and A Quiet place 2 has been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak that has claimed lives over 4,500 across the world.
The Universal Pictures that produced F9 delayed the release of the movie by nearly a year to April 2, 2021. It was scheduled to release on May 22.
Universal did not say any reasons in this regard, but the decision follows delays in release of several other Hollywood movies due to coronavirus.
Paramount Pictures – A Quiet Place 2 – delayed the release of the film which was due to start its international rollout in theaters on March 18, because of the virus.
The Quiet Place director said, “Due to the ever-changing circumstances of what’s going on in the world around us, now is clearly not the right time to do that.”
These decisions followed the postponement of James Bond movie ‘No Time to Die’ to November from April.
