KARACHI: Reham Khan, a journalist, and ex-wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has lamented the support of actors for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and for Imran Khan.
In her tweet on Sunday, she wrote: it is sad to see actors that we respected for their on-screen talent shamelessly become mouthpieces of a fascist regime that is on its way out.
Reham Khan further wrote that artists should not be used for attacking politicians the government is threatened by. She advised the actors to stick to their job.
The prime minister’s ex-wife also wrote in a short tweet that the current government is on the verge of collapse.
Reham Khan,48, is a British-Pakistani journalist, author, and filmmaker. She is a former wife of Imran Khan, who later became Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018,
She married Imran Khan in 2015, lived with him for less than two years, and got a divorce in November 2016.
