South Korean actress Park Min Young recently addressed how her dating controversy impacted her personal life.
The actress, who is currently starring in a new drama serial called ‘Marry My Husband, was previously mentioned in controversies related to her ex-boyfriend, Kang Jong-hyun, and their dating rumors. Following their breakup, Park chose this as her first project after the controversy.
Recalling the challenging year of 2023, Park Min-young shared, “Honestly, it was a year when both my body and mental health suffered. I was wondering if I could do well, but the director helped me a lot.”.
Park Min-young continued, “Although it was a short time, I really lived each day with regret. When I had a brain wave test at the psychiatrist, it showed danger signals due to guilt. Those times actually gave me the realization of what my true profession is, when I am happy, and that I shine the most when I’m just acting on set like before.”
She added, “I have now accepted everything and wanted to express my apologies for causing concern. It would have been better if I had done this earlier, but I wanted to do it sincerely now that I am in a healthier state.” She concluded, “I always vowed to be a proud actress, but I am living with regret. I am trying to get back on track. I am grateful,” earning the support of netizens watching the presentation.
Meanwhile Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Marry My Husband’ is directed by Park Won-guk and, along with actors Park Min Young, also stars Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon, and Lee Ki-kwang.
