KARACHI: A Rangers official was killed and six others were injured when a speeding car collided with a paramilitary patrolling vehicle in Karachi.
A rammed into a Rangers patrolling vehicle near Sharfi Goth Bridge in Shah Faisal Colony after the driver of the vehicle lost its control due to over speeding. As a result, three Rangers officials and four civilians in the vehicle sustained injuries in the accident.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital where a Rangers official succumbed to his injuries during treatment. He was identified as Havaldar Tufail. Meanwhile, two rangers personnel among six people are undergoing treatment.
