KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh today (Tuesday) arrested thirteen accused including street criminals and drug peddlers from different parts of the metropolis.
According to details, the paramilitary force apprehended 11 street criminals from Zaman Town, Preedy, Korangi and Ferozabad areas, while two drug peddlers were arrested from Chakiwara and Baghdadi areas.
The Rangers recovered illegal arms, ammunition, snatched goods and drugs from their possession. All arrested anti-social elements have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
Earlier in October, Sindh Rangers conducted a raid in Garden West and arrested four Lyari gangsters involved in a wide range of criminal activities.
The paramilitary conducted an intelligence-based operation along with Sindh Police in Tharu Lane area of Garden West and arrested the four suspects. The criminals are allegedly involved in a number of extortion cases and the illegal sale and purchase of narcotics.
The suspects collected extortion between Rs2 million to Rs2.5 million each month from Prince Avenue, Platinum Avenue, Lakhani Building and Tharu Lane along with several other areas.
