KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers claimed to have arrested 10 suspected criminals, including three drug peddlers, from different areas of the metropolis.
Rangers’ spokesperson said on a tip-off, the paramilitary forces conducted a targeted raid in the Ferozabad area and detained three drug peddlers.
The spokesman further said the arrested suspects were involved in supplying drugs in different areas of the city. The rangers also recovered a huge quantity of drugs, hashish and liquor from their possession.
Meanwhile, during the crackdown on street criminals, rangers conducted operations in different areas of the metropolis and apprehended seven suspects.
The arrested street criminals were apprehended from Korangi, Nazimabad, Shahrah-e-Faisal and Soldier Bazaar areas of the metropolis.
The rangers also recovered drugs, weapons, stolen motorcycles, and other stuff from the suspects’ possession.
Earlier, Pakistan Rangers Sindh had conducted joint operations with city police apprehended 15 suspected criminals from different parts of the city.
According to a press release issued by the paramilitary force’s spokesman, the paramilitary force and police nabbed 15 criminals, including notorious dacoits, and drug peddlers during their targeted operations.
