Netflix’s highly controversial series Rana Naidu, which received backlash for its several graphic sex-related dialogues, will return for another season in a much-sobered form.
The sources have confirmed season two of the action crime show, however, after being closely examined its abusive language in light of the harsh criticism. As per the sources, the Indian government is serious about the complaints of increasing abusive and obscene content on OTT platforms.

Despite criticism, Rana Naidu has climbed into Netflix’s top ten list of most-watched non-English series for the second consecutive week, becoming one of the streamer’s most globally successful Hindi-language titles to date.
This week it hit the fourth place on Netflix’s global charts with 16.41 million viewed hours, more than double the first week’s viewership total.
The show follows the titular character Rana Naidu, who makes a living by fixing the messes left behind by his famous clients. Famed as the go-to “fixer of the stars,” Naidu nevertheless struggles to cope with his own domestic situation, thanks to a fraught relationship with his wife and two children.
Raina Naidu features the biggest stars of the Telugu industry Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati in the leading roles. It also stars Sushant Singh, Surveen Chawla, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais. Premiered on March 10, ‘Rana Naidu’ is streaming on Netflix in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
