Muslims around the world will begin observing Ramadan 2025 based on the sighting of the crescent moon. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims fast, pray, and engage in spiritual reflection.
In Pakistan, the holy month begins on Sunday, March 2.
Observing the fast from dawn to sunset, Muslims begin their daily fast with Sehri (pre-dawn meal) and break it with Iftar (meal at sunset).
