LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators on Saturday retained Pakistani actors Maya Ali and Bilal Ashraf as brand ambassadors for the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
This will be Maya Ali’s fifth stint as the ambassador, while Ashraf has been appointed for the third time. However, that’s not all the star power they’ve got this year — Adnan Siddiqui, Ushna Shah and Shahid Afridi have also donned purple for their anthem!
In an Instagram post, Gladiators called Ashraf a “superstar of Pakistani cinema” and said he “remains the power behind the #PurpleForce & the official brand ambassador for the 3rd consecutive year!”

They re-recruited Ali as well saying, “The dynamic Maya Ali will continue to stay the #PurpleForce as our official brand ambassador.” Quetta Gladiators seem to have devised the perfect combination to showcase how ready they are this season.

The anthem promises to be intense as it’s by Bilal Maqsood and Ahmed Murtaza. “The dynamic Bilal Maqsood bringing an entirely new level of energy to the #PurpleForce anthem!!” the Gladiators captioned the teaser.

The Gladiators have been going through a rough patch, as they could not perform up to the mark in the last two seasons and crashed out before the finals.
In a recent interview with Cricket Pakistan, Gladiators skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that he will look to turn things around for his team and hoped they could become champions once again.
