A hostel in Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad was set on fire on Friday morning amid a clash of two rival student groups in the varsity.
As per media reports, clashes between the two groups took place in the university hostel, resulting in injuries to several students. The condition of three injured students is said to be critical, the injured students have been shifted to PIMS Hospital in critical condition.
The university administration has decided to vacate the boy’s hostels, due to the SCO summit in the federal capital.

The management has directed all students to vacate the hostels from tomorrow, the boy’s hostels will remain closed till October 20.
It is still unclear which two student groups were involved in the clash and what the reason behind the fight was.
Social media users are sharing disturbing videos of the clash on different platforms and demanding the authorities concerned take stern action against those who violated the dignity of the university.
