RAJANPUR: Punjab Police in the Kacha area of Rajanpur have claimed a significant victory in their fight against criminal elements. The District Police Officer (DPO) Rajanpur announced that many robbers had escaped, but many others were arrested during an operation that had been ongoing for the last month.
According to the DPO, the police had achieved a historical success in their efforts to eliminate criminal elements in the area. The operation had forced head money criminals to flee, destroyed terrorist hideouts, and set up check posts to maintain order.
During the operation, the police targeted the Bangiani, Sukhani, Imrani, Dalani and Sadani gangs, recovering a cache of heavy weapons, including machine guns, rocket launchers, G32 and SMG7.
The DPO confirmed that seven terrorists had been killed, more than 27 injured and 23 facilitators had been arrested so far.
