LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Sunday said that the Punjab government will provide adequate security to former Prime Minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan.
Talking to the media in Lahore, the PML-Q leader maintained that they would stand with whichever army chief is appointed “constitutionally”.
He continued by saying that “over the next few days, everyone will learn what Imran has accomplished thus far.”
Meanwhile, PTI senior leader Asad Umar said that Pakistan needed to take its own decisions and be subservient to none.
PTI leader Asad Umar talked about his experience of interacting with “thousands of people” during the party’s long march.

Moreover, PTI announced to organizes a power show in Islamabad's outskirts after getting NOC from the administration.
The district administration allowed the PTI to hold a gathering in the federal capital, workers of the former ruling party thronged Rawat to listen to the address of party chief Imran Khan via video link.
PTI workers from different union councils reached Koral Chowk and later a rally, led by PTI leaders Ali Nawaz Awan and Raja Khurram, reached Rawat to join the long march which has been on the road for over two weeks.
