Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Wednesday that all educational institutions across the province would remain closed. This decision was made in light of the situation arising from Indian missile attacks, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), India carried out missile strikes on Pakistani territory on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, which were described as cowardly acts.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Army stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces are responding to the attack with full force and will turn the enemy’s temporary celebration into permanent mourning.
The Chief Minister of Punjab strongly condemned Indian aggression and expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs. She stated that the nation knows how to avenge the blood of its martyrs and that India’s provocation will be responded to at every level.
Following the Indian attack, aviation authorities nationwide suspended flight operations for 48 hours, a decision that applies to all airports. It is noteworthy that tensions between Pakistan and India have been steadily rising since the terrorist attack in the occupied Kashmir area of Pahalgam on April 22.
India has blamed Pakistan for the attack without providing evidence, while Pakistan strongly denied the accusation and offered to cooperate in an independent investigation. Pakistan’s position is that it is ready to cooperate in any kind of international investigation to maintain peace in the region.
