The Punjab Education Department has released a notification outlining revised school timings, which will be implemented following the Eidul Fitr holidays.
As stated in the official announcement, the new schedule will begin on April 7 and remain in effect until October 15.
For schools operating a single shift, classes will start at 8:00 am and end at 1:30 pm, while Fridays will have reduced timings, with schools closing at 12:00 pm.
For institutions with double shifts, the first shift will run from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with Friday classes concluding at 12:00 pm.

The second shift will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm, except on Fridays, when it will begin later at 2:30 pm.
Moreover, the Punjab government has declared that schools will remain closed for Eidul Fitr from March 28 (Friday) to April 6 (Sunday).
Regular academic sessions will resume on April 7, according to the notification.
