Public-Private Partnership will accelerate development: Asad Umar

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced that the transaction structure for the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway has been approved.

In this regard, Asad Umar posted a tweet that the Public-private partnership authority board approved the transaction structure for the 200 billion rupees Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway.

He wrote, “With the public-private partnership authority gearing up development work will accelerate in the country.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Asad Umar chaired a meeting of the Sindh Infrastructure Development Corporation at the Governor House. where he said that the federal government was willing to work with Sindh for the betterment of the province’s people. 

According to him, Prime Minister Imran Khan had decided to appoint him as the focal person for the implementation of the federal government’s projects in Sindh two months ago.
