‘Get ready, a sea is coming to Islamabad’: Imran

Former Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan has said that a “sea of people” is coming to Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Addressing supporters in Sadhoke, the former premier asked his supporters in the twin cities to prepare.

“I have set out for one purpose: we want justice in our country. I have one message for the entire nation today, it is time to change your fate,” Imran added.

This is the Revolution I was talking about. 3rd day of our Haqeeqi Azadi March and people keep joining our March in huge numbers as we move forward. pic.twitter.com/NQsYkM1x0k

Imran claims journalists are fleeing Pakistan

Imran Khan has claimed that journalists are fleeing Pakistan and moving abroad because they are receiving “threats” and are afraid for their lives.

“Today 2 more journalists have left this country, this country will never forget what happened to Shaheed Arshad Sharif!”-@ImranKhanPTI #حقیقی_آزادی_لانگ_مارچ pic.twitter.com/od11FXBVDo

— PTI (@PTIofficial) October 30, 2022

“Moeed Pirzada, Irshad Bhatti have gone abroad […] earlier, Sabir Shakir left the same way. Arshad Sharif shaheed, who was standing on the path of justice, got threats […] he was silenced, removed from the channel and then martyred,” he told supporters in Sadhoke.

He went on to say that people on social media were receiving threats and were being oppressed.

“You should be ashamed of what you did to Azam Swati. What was his crime? A tweet in which he criticized the army chief,” he questioned. “What kind of a calamity was it that you had to inflict torture on him [Swati]?”

“I thank the Supreme Court that they called Azam Swati tomorrow, he will tell how they tortured him”-@ImranKhanPTI #حقیقی_آزادی_لانگ_مارچ pic.twitter.com/vNuT3PHYwO

Pakistan is changing before your eyes: Imran

PTI Chairman Imran Khan told his supporters on Sunday that “Pakistan is changing before your eyes”.

In an address upon reaching Sadhoke, he said that there was only one difference between the society of animals and humans. “In the society of animals, the powerful can do whatever they want and the weak have no one to protect them.

“But in a human society, there is justice,” Imran claimed, adding that this was exactly the “revolution” Pakistan was seeing right now.

CM Elahi claims ‘Backdoor negotiations’ underway during long march

Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi has said that “backdoor negotiations” are underway even as the PTI’s long march continues.

Elahi said backdoor talks always take place during long marches. He did not identify who the talks were being held with. Both the government and PTI have previously said there are no negotiations happening.

“God willing [PTI Chairman] Imran Khan will be successful,” he tweeted.

Addressing Long March participants in Muridke, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said if Establishment had decided to side by these thieves, “don’t consider us as mere sheep or livestock.”

He said if you [Establishment] would side by these thieves, people won’t side by you, adding that “I want a stronger Army because the Army, its personnel and the country are ours.” He said he only had constructive criticism [on Army] and never wanted to causes any damage to that institution.

1:13 pm

Addressing Long March participants, Imran Khan said “Shehbaz Sharif claimed I approached him to discuss appointment of new Army Chief,” adding Shehbaz must understand “I don’t talk to boot-polishers.” He said the entire life of Shehbaz Sharif spent doing boot-polish, he visited entire world as beggar.

Imran Khan said Shehbaz Sharif used to hide in the car’s truck and go for meeting [with key personalities], adding “why would I talk to you, I talked to those whom you used to meet secretly.” He said my talks revolved around single point agenda, i.e. free and fair general elections.

He said “I wasn’t grown up in some nursery, I didn’t use to call [General] Ayub as Daddy, didn’t install any iron bars at the residence of General Jilani.”

1:06 pm

According to party leader Fawad Chaudhry, PTI’s Long March will cover distance from Muridke to Kamoke today. Taking to Twitter, he expected hope that some one million to one and half million people would gather in Islamabad on Friday.
