ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned the demolition of the ancestral house of former MNA Lal Chand Malhi in Umerkot district of Sindh.
PTI Secretary-General Omar Ayub Khan condemned the action after President of PTI Minority Wing Lal Malhi’s house was bulldozed, saying the fascist federal government and corrupt Sindh government do not care about the properties of citizens.
He said Hindus all over Pakistan, especially in Sindh, are afraid of the harsh and illegal actions of the Sindh government. He claimed that eyewitnesses were being prevented from taking pictures or making videos of illegal demolition of private property.
Omar Ayub said such actions against Muslims are seen in Indian-Occupied Kashmir. He said the government has to ensure the protection of the rights of minorities in Pakistan.
He said the fascist federal government and corrupt Sindh government are suffering from the hatred of PTI and the party chairman. He said such tactics are being used to spread fear and force party leaders to switch loyalties.
This fascist regime is using fear as a weapon, Omar Ayub added. He said that Lal Malhi is being targeted simply for standing steadfastly with PTI and its party chairman. “He asked whether the Judiciary will remain a silent spectator against the violation of justice and the rule of law.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan condemned the demolition of Lal Malhi’s family house in Umer Kot by the PPP government. “The fascist tactics employed by the State to force PTI leaders & workers to dissociate from the party has not only weakened our democracy, but it is also severely damaging the social contract between a State and its citizens,” he said.
The PTI chief said those in power need to introspect these actions. “It is impossible to effectively govern & progress by suppressing the citizens & taking away their fundamental rights,” he added.
PTI West Punjab President and former minister of state Farrrukh Habib also condemned the demolition of Lal Malhi’s house in Sindh.
“The demolition of LalMalhi’s family house by the PPPP government in Sindh Umer Kot is seen as a brutal act of fascism that sends a negative message to the world,” he said, adding that is also becoming a crime to be a supporter or member of the PTI party in Pakistan.
“The PPPP government, recently led by Bilawal Bhutto is champion of falsely portraying themselves as advocate of human rights violations,” he added.
