ISLAMABAD: The delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) have met to resolve their parties’ difference.
Both delegations met at the residence of Pervez Khattak in Islamabad where on behalf of the PTI party Khattak said, “We have discussed all matters in detail and will find a way out.”
“We believe that a gap was created between government and allies due to lack of communication but we have successfully bridged that gap,” he added.
Khattak further said, “We have no major differences and we will continue to be allies.”
Pervaiz Elahi speaking on the occasion said that all matters were discussed up close and personal in today’s meeting.
Pervez Elahi earlier said that skipped the first meeting of a committee formed by the government to hold talks with opposition parties regarding the march on Islamabad later this month.
The PML-Q was a coalition partner of the government at the centre and in Punjab. However, Elahi did not show up for the meeting due to personal engagements.
