ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a 9-member committee of the federal cabinet regarding PTI’s Azadi March being led by former prime minister Imran Khan.
According to details, the federal government has become active for the security of Islamabad. The Prime Minister constituted the Federal Cabinet Committee under the chairmanship of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah comprising nine members.
The committee established by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been established to maintain peace and order and political negotiations regarding the Long March.

The federal cabinet committee includes federal ministers Maryam Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Ayaz Sadiq, besides MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, ANP’s Mian Iftikhar and Maulana Asad.
The former PM and thousands of supporters started a long-promised march to the capital, Islamabad, to challenge the government of his successor and demand early elections.
Khan maintains that his ouster in a parliament no-confidence vote in April was unlawful, and a conspiracy by his political opponents orchestrated by the United States — a charge denied by both Washington and Pakistan’s new premier, Shahbaz Sharif.
