KARACHI: A government delegation of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf will visit the Bahadurabad Center of the Muttahida Qoumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Monday to satisfy their coalition partner in the ruling alliance.
After the resignation of MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui from the federal cabinet, the visit will be part of the appeasement initiatives of the federal government, the delegation is expected to meet MQM-P senior party officials at 1 am in the afternoon.

According to reports, Asad Umar and Governor Sindh Imran Ismail will be part of the government delegation joined by other ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) representatives. The MQM-P representatives expected to participate in the meeting including Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Amir Khan, Kunwar Naveed and Faisal Subzwari.
MQM-P is expected to put its concerns and demands in front of the PTI delegation while the guests are expected to raise the issue of joining the cabinet with their hosts.
MQM-P sources said that the problem now is not only about ministries but also about providing relief and remedies to the general public. MQM-P allegedly compiled a summary of all the commitments.
