LAHORE: After a successful rallies in support of Supreme Court, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to speed up its election campaign and announced to hold rallies in Punjab.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will stage five rallies across Punjab from Wednesday through Sunday, according to the timetable. On Wednesday, the planned rallies will begin in Muridke. On Thursday, a second public assembly will be held in Gakhar Mandi.
The third, fourth, and fifth rallies, respectively, will take place at Lalamusa, Gujar Khan, and Attock. All of the rallies in Punjab will be led by PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Earlier, the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced to hold public gatherings from Monday (May 8) following the government’s ‘reluctance’ to hold elections on May 14 despite orders from Supreme Court (SC).
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held rallies in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and other cities on Saturday evening simultaneously.
Imran Khan accused the administration of taking deliberate actions to undermine the Supreme Court (SC) and the Constitution. “A mafia is spreading misinformation about the SC judges and CJP. I’m pleading with the nation to get out on Saturday to demonstrate their support for the CJP.
