LAHORE: Peshawar Zalmi has won against the Karachi Kings with solid 55 runs in the 19th match of seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) being played at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Babar Azam has scored a total of 59 runs off 46 balls but couldn’t hold on longer as the cricketer was swiped off the batting field by Salman Irshad that gave Zalmi’s the edge.
Joe Clarke scored 26 runs off 26 balls while Mohammad Nabi succeeded in scoring 15 runs off 11 balls.
While the other players from the Kings could not put up the required power show for the team and so Karachi lost the match with a margin of 55 runs.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi were off to a steady start but they lost their opener Muhammad Harris in ninth over to Muhammad Nabi.
Zalmi lost their second wicket of Livingstone after he tries to play a big shot on the leg side in the 12th over while Hazratullah Zazai was sent to pavilion in the 14th over.

Peshawar Zalmi lost their previous match to Multan Sultans making them become the first team to enter the PSL 7 play-offs.
Meanwhile, Karachi Kings have lost all five matches played in the current edition and is ranked at the bottom of the points table. In its last match Karachi Kings was defeated by Islamabad United by 42 runs.
On the other hand their opponent Peshawar Zalmi position are slightly better, they won 2 out of 6.
