LAHORE: Superstar Mahira Khan has been announced as brand ambassador for Peshawar Zalmi for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six, according to a statement.
According to details, the 36-year-old will be the team’s representative for the third time, after successful seasons three and four. Khan had also appeared in Zalmi’s anthem Hum Zalmi for season four.
Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi announced the appointment of Mahira Khan as the brand ambassador on Twitter, welcoming the superstar into the Peshawar Zalmi family.

It is worth mentioning here that Turkish star Esra Belgic is also expected to join the franchise as its ambassador. In a social media post earlier this month she announced “new beginnings” with Peshawar Zalmi.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi head coach Darren Sammy arrived in Karachi last week while Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz, Shoaib Malik, Imam-ul-Haq, and Kamran Akmal have joined the team.
The artist line up for season six amplifies the event. This year, the list includes Groove Mera singers Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal and Young Stunners who will be joined by celebrated star Atif Aslam, actor Humaima Malick and singer Imran Khan.
