LAHORE: The 25th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans has been abandoned due to heavy rain without a ball being bowled.
It was expected to rain heavily during the match hours and the match would unlikely be played at Gaddafi Stadium. The match was supposed to start at 7 PM but was called off at 8:05 after no respite from the rain.
“We are very sorry to announce that the rain in Lahore means that the match between @MultanSultans and @TeamQuetta has been abandoned, with both teams sharing a point each,” said the PSL on its twitter page.
