Following the Pakistan government’s revocation of Indian visas, Indian nationals working with broadcasters of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have begun departing the country, reliable sources confirmed.
The decision to cancel Indian visas was officially announced earlier this week, prompting the immediate exit of Indian broadcast staff.
Sources disclosed that the affected individuals, who had been operating as freelancers for the PSL’s broadcasting team, began leaving the tournament shortly after the announcement.
Several Indian personnel stationed in Multan were expected to exit Pakistan by today, while others were in the process of returning home. However, officials have clarified that the departure of Indian crew members will not affect the ongoing PSL operations.
The PSL’s broadcasting responsibilities are managed by a Pakistani company, and sources assured that contingency plans were in place.
Replacement staff have already been arranged and are ready to assume duties vacated by the departing Indian freelancers, ensuring uninterrupted tournament coverage.
