PUNJAB: Prominent Islamic Scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has survived an assassination attempt on Sunday.
According to sources, Muhammad Ali Mirza is safe and sound. However, further information regarding the incident has yet to be declared officially.
Earlier, the news regarding the preacher’s arrest had widely circulated all over social media. According to sources, Ali Mirza had been arrested by Jhelum police as he passed belittling remarks against other religious scholars.
It is worth mentioning here Muhammad Ali Mirza is a YouTuber and usually shares his detailed lectures on his channel.
He is also an avid promoter of Quran and Hadees knowledge, runs a research academy in Jhelum where he imparts religious education. For his controversial views on sects of Islam, he faces criticism from traditional scholars of different schools of thought.
Currently, he served as a Grade-19 Government Officer in Defence Ministry and Mechanical Engineer from Profession.
