SANTO DOMINGO: A private jet crashed in the Caribbean country of the Dominican Republic, has killed nine people, including a music producer.
A private jet crashed during an emergency landing at Los America Airport in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, according to details. The nine people who died included two crew members.
International media said that the nine people killed in the plane crash include six foreigners and one Dominican citizen. The identification of the remaining six passengers is in progress. Puerto Rican music producer José Moreno Hernández has died, along with his wife and child.
Earlier, an oil tanker crashed in the Haitian city of Cape Hattin, killing dozens of people. Two days before today, after the accident, an oil tanker caught fire which was immediately followed by an explosion, and chaos spread everywhere. Rescue personnel rushed to the spot as soon as the accident was reported.
