In another tragic incident in Karachi on Friday, where a security guard fatally shot a scavenger boy. According to initial reports, the incident followed a dispute between the boy and the guard, identified as Ramzan, in the North Karachi area.
During the heated argument, the guard fired a shot, hitting the boy in the stomach, and then fled the scene with the weapon. Police officials confirmed that the boy succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The incident happened within the jurisdiction of the Sir Syed police station. A search operation has been launched to apprehend Ramzan and bring him to justice.
Earlier this week, a young TikToker was shot dead by a private security guard near Sarina Mobile Market in North Nazimabad. Central SSP Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqi reported that 24-year-old Saad Ahmed was making a TikTok video opposite the market. The guard, identified as Ahmed Gul, became enraged when the young man pointed towards him while filming. Armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, the guard fired at Saad, who suffered critical bullet wounds and died en route to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The Taimuria police have since arrested the guard.
