ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi and his wife Samina Alvi have wished a quick recovery to actress Nadia Jamil, who has recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
The president took to Twitter and wrote, “Indeed there is no shame. This is a disease like any other with a great potential of recovery in ‘early detection and fast action’.”

He further wrote that we need to spread the word about cancer. “You will Inshallah recover soon, we are praying for you,” he wrote.
Mere Pass Tum Ho actor Humayun Saeed has also sent prayers to actress Nadia Jamil. He in a tweet wrote, “Praying for your speedy recovery Nadia Jamil.” She has been diagnosed with stage-1 breast cancer and a grade three tumour. She on 3rd April made the emotional announcement on Twitter.
She also urged the women to get regular checkups and said, “Please act fast if you feel any abnormalities. Do not ever ignore your body, your health. I now await my surgery date and am feeling positive and loved. Please don’t worry and take good care of yourselves.”
