ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has congratulated the Pakistan cricket team on their innings victory in the Rawalpindi Test match.
In a tweet, the president wrote, “Congratulations to Pakistan Cricket Team on their innings victory in the Rawalpindi Test match, and to Naseem Shah on being the youngest player in cricket test history to have taken a hat-trick. Better luck next time Bangladesh.”

Earlier today, Pakistan sealed a big win on day 4. The team easily defeated Bangladesh with an innings and 44 runs taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series as the guest team’s batting order collapsed during the first test match in Rawalpindi.
Since restarting the day on 126-6 Bangladesh was bowled out for 168 in their second innings. Fast bowler Naseem Shah, who became the youngest bowler ever to take a Test hat-trick on Sunday at 16 years, completed 4-26.
