Two Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers were killed in a van accident while returning from the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Bhutto, as reported by national media on Saturday.
According to details, the PPP workers’ van overturned while returning from the death anniversary event in Larkana. In the accident, two workers lost their lives, while seven others, including the driver, were injured.
The deceased workers have been identified as Irfan and Zainul Abidin. Rescue officials have transferred the bodies and the injured to the trauma center. MPA Jameel Somro, the Mayor of Larkana, and other party leaders arrived at the trauma center to visit the injured.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his condolences over the accident involving the PPP workers’ van and extended his sympathies to the families of the deceased. He also issued instructions to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured. He also appealed to the public to follow driving rules and avoid speeding to prevent such tragic incidents.
