Parts of Pakistan, including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Muzzaffarabad, were jolted by a powerful earthquake on Saturday afternoon.
After the tremors, social media users share videos from different cities and areas.
The earthquake of 5.5 magnitude felt in different parts of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tremors were also experienced in Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Rawalakot.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, tremors were also felt in Peshawar, Mardan, Mohmand, Mansehra, DI Khan, and Shabqadar.
However, no immediate report of any casualties or damage was received from any of the affected regions.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), PMD Islamabad, the earthquake occurred at 12:31pm, with a magnitude of 5.5 and a depth of 12 kilometres.
The epicentre was located 60 kilometres northwest of Rawalpindi, at latitude 33.90 N and longitude 72.66 E.
“My building in sector F-11 swayed left and right. People rushed out of their homes,” said a resident of Islamabad.

Authorities were assessing the situation and had advised the public to remain calm but alert.
