The Commissioner Karachi has issued a fresh price list for Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in which the official prices of fruits, vegetables, poultry, eggs and other food items have been fixed.
The Commissioner Karachi has warned that strict monitoring was being done to control inflation, and shopkeepers must sell items at official rates, otherwise action would be taken.
Citizens have been appealed to check the official price list before purchasing things. Do not allow shopkeepers who charge high prices, immediately report the sale of expensive items to the relevant authorities.
If any shop or market is selling items at a price higher than the official rate, citizens should immediately report it to the complaint numbers of the Commissioner Karachi so that strict action can be taken against the violators.
The government’s measures will be successful only when the public is also mobilized to protect their rights and raise their voice against illegal profiteering.
