Over the past decade, the political rivalry between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Sindh has remained intense, marked by a constant tug-of-war for influence and dominance.
PTI, under the leadership of Imran Khan, has managed to secure a noticeable presence in Sindh’s political landscape, especially in urban centers like Karachi and Hyderabad.
However, PTI’s presence has remained largely limited, unable to shake PPP’s deep-rooted influence in rural Sindh where traditional loyalties and the Bhutto legacy still hold significant sway.
