ISLAMABAD: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has expressed concern on the current political situation, the stand off between government and judiciary, and inflation.
Talking to media at F-8 Kuthcery here on Saturday, Sheikh Rashid said that the politicians are moving towards a dead end, and he hoped that the judiciary would emerge as the winner.
He accused the rulers of coming to power to get their cases quashed and highlighted that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would not spare them. Sheikh Rashid further stated that the nation would make decisions on the streets, and the rulers would not be able to run away from the country.

The AML chief also talked about the ongoing political rifts and allegations being thrown at each other by political opponents. He mentioned that he was not afraid of the cases and stated that Asif Ali Zardari wanted Shahbaz Sharif to be disqualified.
Sheikh Rashid expressed his hope in the judiciary and said that the nation stands with it. He mentioned that the NAB law was still pending in the Supreme Court and criticized the current government for making a joke out of the country of 24 crore people.
He also stated that the nation was worried about inflation, which had caused them immense suffering. The AML chief accused the current rulers of begging for alms for a year and walking around the world with a begging bowl.
