KARACHI: Police have refused to hand over the body of National Assembly member and well-known TV host Aamir Liaquat to his family.
According to details, police officials said that the deceased MNA was a famous person, and it is very important to know the cause of his death.
Police officials said that they would try their best to persuade his son Ahmed Aamir to conduct an autopsy on Aamir Liaquat. In this regard, efforts are being made to contact his family.

The police have been asked to hand over the body of Aamir Liaquat to Brigade Police Station. Police have directed that the body of Aamir Liaquat should not be handed over to anyone other than Brigade Police Station.
Police officials added that legal action would be taken if the body was given to anyone else. On the other hand, preparations are underway for the grave of Aamir Liaquat on the premises of Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s mausoleum in Karachi.
It may be recalled that Aamir Liaquat, a prominent TV anchor, and member National Assembly, had passed away yesterday.
